
David Outlaw-Batista
Director, Client Engagement
David serves as Director of Client Engagement for the Veterans Benefits Division at the Batista Law Firm. In this role, he oversees client outreach and intake, ensuring that Veterans and their families receive the knowledgeable, personalized support needed to secure the benefits they have earned.
David’s commitment to this mission is deeply personal. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he served aboard the fast attack submarine, USS Santa Fe (SSN 763), and later managed a regional supply detachment in Italy—experiences that shaped his enduring dedication to the military community. As co-founder and former President of the Cornell Undergraduate Veterans Association, David has long championed initiatives that expand access and opportunity for those who have served.
Drawing on a diverse professional background in hospitality, financial technology, and corporate strategy, David brings a unique combination of operational expertise and Veteran advocacy to the Batista Law Firm. His focus remains on elevating the client experience and strengthening the firm’s connection to the Veteran community through thoughtful engagement and outreach.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
